Acknowledgments for scientific papers
We ask all scientists supported by ChETEC-INFRA to acknowledge ChETEC-INFRA! This applies to
- ChETEC-INFRA partners receiving direct EU funding,
- users of ChETEC-INFRA transnational access infrastructures, and
- scientists benefiting scientifically from the ChETEC-INFRA networking activities, such as the SNAQs schools.
Proper acknowledgments help us with mandatory reporting to the EU and also for the long-term sustainability of nuclear astrophysics. The suggested short phrase to insert in the acknowledgments section for papers is:
„This work (or: initials of co-author) was supported (in part) by the European Union (ChETEC-INFRA, project no. 101008324).“
Formal acknowledgments for other cases, such as communication activities
Unless the Commission requests or agrees otherwise or unless it is impossible, any communication activity related to the action (including in electronic form, via social media, etc.) and any infrastructure, equipment and major results funded by the grant must:
(a) display the EU emblem, and
(b) include the following text:
For communication activities:
“This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 101008324 (ChETEC-INFRA)”.
For infrastructure, equipment and major results:
“This [infrastructure][equipment][insert type of result] is part of a project that has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 101008324 (ChETEC-INFRA)”.
Any communication activity related to the action must indicate that it reflects only the author’s view and that the Commission is not responsible for any use that may be made of the information it contains.
